in a math related field.

What this mission statement means to me...
My goal is to encourage middle school students to become life long learners. I want
them to be as excited about learning as I am, and will demonstrate my passion for learning every day. I also want students
to feel like they are learning not just for the process of learning, but because they are curious and want to discover new
things.
How I will work with Middle School students to achieve this goal -

Demonstrate my love of learning every day

Provide engaging, hands-on lessons that incorporate students' interests to captivate students
and inspire them to enjoy learning as they did when they were very young

Work with the students to create a positive learning community where students feel comfortable
to challenge themselves

Utilize resources and professional development opportunities from the NMSA,
NCTM, and various other organizations

Collaborate with my team members and other faculty members, within and outside of our
school
"I know that I cannot change the world today, but I start each day knowing I will make
a difference!"
